Miley Cyrus ain’t the only Hollywood starlet who brings along her family during her dates with her boyfriend!

Lovebirds Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia were joined by Hayden’s brother Jansen and mother Leslie during a not-so romantic dinner date at Maggiano’s in Los Angeles on Tuesday night.

Noticeably absent was Hayden’s father Alan. He was recently charged with misdemeanor battery after allegedly assaulting his wife.

Upon the happy family’s exit from the Italian eatery, Milo made an valiant effort to stop photographers from snapping pics after an otherwise peaceful dinner.

What a hero!

Is it just me or is Milo's eyes a bit red/glassy in the 2nd picture? XD

Could be, but the hand discoloration makes sense imo to the flash; I would think that flash only affects the eyes when they're looking at the camera.

No big, I just thought it was interesting. XD Don't usually see pics of him slightly buzzed. XD

You're right; his eyes do look a little red-rimmed. But there could be a lot of reasons why. We know he's not a drinker. Could be allergies. Doesn't look like a flash thing, that would be the irises or pupils.

Well, I actually see a lot of pictures of him where he looks tired/overworked, but he does 12-hour days on the set and only sleeps 3-4 hours a night. I don't think he ever drinks, though.

Why is that? Not that I'm doubting you, but was there an interview where it says he doesn't drink? It'd be interesting to see that. ^_^

"Not too long ago, Milo Ventimiglia went on a date. Nothing elaborate, just dinner with a woman he’d known for a while, though mainly in passing. As the evening progressed and his companion began to learn more about the 30-year-old star of NBC’s hit drama Heroes, the young lady grew increasingly uncomfortable. Finally, recalls the actor, she blurted out: “So you’re polite, you don’t drink, you don’t smoke, you’re a vegetarian, you keep yourself fit, and you’re successful. What’s wrong with you?”"
