Milo in World War Z(?)

.. togehter with Brad Pitt

Sorry I did not know this til yet - is this new?? If yes, please delete..

“World War Z” describes the history a zombie pandemic that turned into a decade-long war through a series of oral interviews. The infection spread worldwide, and an ineffective vaccine gave the United States a false sense of comfort. The battle against the zombies meant a different defensive approach from each country; all of the countries eventually come together to reclaim their territory and defeat the zombies. There are plans for a movie adaptation of “World War Z” within the next couple years, starring Brad Pitt and Milo Ventimiglia.

If this is for real, then it's awesome news. It's an incredible novel (seriously, you all should read it - it's a very acute observation of the world as we know it now, minus the zombie-apocalypse), and if they've found a way to adapt it to the big screen then that in itself is amazing. Add in Milo kicking zombie ass, and YES, I'll be there. Possibly for the midnight screening. Been a long time since I've bothered to do that!

If you tell me to read it, I will. You told me to see District 9, I did, and I was very impressed. So i guess you know best :-).

Aw, you're sweet. But don't listen to everything I ramble about! Most of the things I like are unashamedly stupid, and often in poor taste. I watch Family Guy after all.

(And I shouldn't have been so emphatic and preachy in that comment - sorry, get over-excited when I've had a bit to drink - I really should have said I'd recommend reading it. If you have time and inclination. Which you seem to indicate you do, so yay! Hope you enjoy it.)

I like people who are spontanous when it comes to say what they like. Enthusiasm is absolutely fine with me, so please, go on like before. It´s rare enough that people find the strength and the courage to share their commitment. (At least when I do so I am looked at like "Fine. Thank you. Go over there and come back when you´re finished growing up.")

The novel is seriously awesome. Everytime someone comes into the bookstore I advise them to get the novel.

I knoooow. It'll be very interesting to see how it translates to screen. As RuPaul would say: Good luck, and don't fuck it up!

Milo and Brad in the same movie!! I think my head might explode. Once upon a time I didn't even like Brad Pitt but I love him now.

Not much of a fan of Brad Pitt, but this is awesome!
This movie might actually make it to German theaters and if we're really lucky they might even show it in the original version and not dubbed. And even if I had to watch a dubbed version... Milo on the big screen... *content sigh*
