I love Comic Con - it was just too fun. Fri Sat Sun were sold out and it really felt like they were too lol - so many people but for the most part people were polite and didn't try to be rude. Sat and Sun were panel days for me so I wasn't on the floor that much but it was worth it. :) I also ran into other people from the forums, LJ, as well as other online sites - it was fun :)
I have to agree - Heroes was one of the best panels at the con this year. The cast is just awesome together and apart. Biggest surprise for me was that Adrian was so freaking damn hot in person - I mean he's hot on the show but you have no idea how beautiful that man is until you're right there second row in front of him lol!!! Milo was just so good looking - such a treat to see them all right there in front of you on not on the tv screen lol.
I read through some of the other Con posts here and don't want to be repetative. Yes - Zachary did say 'Sylinder' which was so funny - love that man. 'Sylinder' was one variation that some people have on the NBC boards I believe.
Greg, Adrian, and Sendhil were like boys having way too much fun on stage - great to watch how the banter went and how they acted together. I wish they'd sat Milo on that end because it seemed like he'd be more playful there lol.
Milo - awesome to see up close and personal. Of course, if would have been so much better if it were more personal but you take what you can get. He seemed to really enjoy the con (although you got that vibe from him more in Pathology panel than the Heroes where he seemed a bit more reserved). Beautiful man on screen and off - especially on Sunday when he had this brown shirt on - just lush lol.
Back on topic lol - I read that some people were talking about Ali being a bit fake - I don't know if that was the case of if she just didn't have a lot to say - well, up until someone asked if Heroes was going to have women on the show that weren't 'cheerleaders or strippers' lol. Then she got fiesty.
I have to say - no offense to anyone who loves the Paire ship - but I liked that Milo and Hayden really said it out there that they are related. That was my one interaction with Milo - he said 'I don't know which is worst, the age difference or the uncle thing' I yelled 'uncle' and he said 'yes (pointed at me) uncle I agree' I pointed at him and said 'yeah that's just nasty' lol. People can still like that ship - it just means it won't happen on the show.
Milo did say that Peter and Hayden hooked up in more of a mental/family way and not in the way that some of the Paire fans were hoping for but that he felt it was a much more important connection.
Milo also mentioned that he loved to work with all the fake blood - which came back to haunt him in the Pathology panel when someone asked him if he liked all the blood in Pathology like he did in Heroes. I think that Milo meant something else when he said he liked all the fake blood lol.
Milo also sweetly mimiced sign language for Love for one fan in the front row to take pic of - animated avi I image. But he refused to do one sign - I don't know what it meant and maybe neither did he. He was very proactive with the fans and the cast - it was such a treat (I said that already didn't I). I'm still on my high from the con lol.
They also annouced the Graphic Novel coming out with artwork by Jim Lee and Alex Ross - totally badass
Kevin Smith's appearance was cool too. Milo stood up and gave Kevin his chair which I thought was very respectful and cool. Kevin's comment about 'The Asian guys being gay' was hilarious - Masi's was like 'WHAT' lol.
They did ask that we not spread the spoilers of what we saw from the Vol. 2 spoiler so I'll let you read that elsewhere on someone's blog. I can just say WOW WOW WOW - Can't wait.
They did not have a signing or a 'time with the fans' they said they came down just for Con and were heading back to keep shooting. That being said Milo was there for two days and so was Zachary so they did stick around a bit but they just weren't that accessible.
Pathology panel - was just cool too. Very relaxed and playful. Milo did most of the talking and seemed to be really proud of his role. He also took charge when they were doing a raffle because they genius' that be did not shake up the box of tickets to meet him. But that being said the five people who did get picked were totally unenthusiastic - which pissed me off - if you were going to meet Milo wouldn't you at least have a 'squeel' or a 'hell yeah' I know I would at least.
A fan did ask if Milo believed that he was desegrating the bodies of the dead or if he believed in an after life. Milo simply responded that he believed his body was a vessel and that his life energy/force would never die even if his body does and that he was not afraid to die.
On of the writers said that on one of the many visits to the morgue to research the movie (where they actually participated in autopsies so they could get a better understanding) that Milo wanted to help remove a liver lol. Milo said that he wanted to know what it was really like - if he was playing the character he really wanted to know as much as he could.
Loved that they were all kinda crazy and laughing during the panel for Pathology - Milo seemed to be in really good spirits and really tried hard to not mention Heroes and focus on the movie. So adoriable might I add. I have some pictures. If they turned out decent once I download them I'll post 'em :) I also have some vid from that panel.

A few other personal highlight - I got to meet Justin Hartley (Green Arrow Smallville) Matt Dallas (Kyle XY - who is smoking hot in person by the way), Michael Turner (Aspen Comics) and Jensen Ackles (Supernatural). Justin was a total funny great guy - he was a total badass in the Smallville panel and Jensen was way way shy it was almost too cute lol. Got pics of that too :) Got to see Jason Behr and Nicholas Cage as well as some other celebs too that I didn't expect to run into.

Date: 2007-07-31 05:39 pm (UTC)I enjoy their chemistry a lot, and I think Kring and Co. are fine playing with the subtext. I mean, they gush about the chemistry on the commentaries and they joke about Petrellicest. But I do think it's unrealistic to expect that it will happen on the show. :-)
